I found this book compelling—I had to keep reading to find out what would happen. Having said that, this is a really depressing book. This is the second novel I have read recently that is about sex trafficking of women and young girls and boys: wealthy men trafficking women, young girls and boys not only for their sexual pleasure but also for making huge amounts of money (with few costs, as they keep noting in this book). That is sickening beyond belief. And we know this is not merely fiction: There are people like Jeffrey Epstein out there. He is dead (and in hell) now, but I am sure he was not the only one. There is some rough justice done in the end, but that is not enough to redeem this book for me. I can not recommend this book. There are so many other books available to read; why waste your precious time with this one?
