Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth novel in the Harry Potter Series. Again, J.K. Rowling did an amazing job of creating this book. This book is one of the most action packed books. The Order is up against the Death Eaters. The Order of the Phoenix are the good guys and the Death Eaters are the antagonists. We get to see how full fledged wizards fight and how the students, Harry Potter and others, go up against them. Also, this is a spoiler, but in the end, Harry Potter loses someone important to him. I definitely recommend this book.

Hmmphhh. This entry in the series is one of the harder for me to read. Harry is dealing with some hardcore PTSD as well as normal teenage hormonal moodiness, which makes him remarkable short tempered and prone to lashing out at the people around him at the slightest provocation. All things considered it is understandable for him to be acting this way. He's dealing with a lot. But it makes him a hard protagonist to follow the POV of, and the situation isn't helped by the way the entire story gangs up on him and further drives him into depression and isolation. That said, his true friends really show their mettle in Order of the Phoenix, and the core Ride or Die group going forward - Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, and Luna- cement their place in the plot in this book.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book in the series! It contains the single most legendary chapter in any harry potter book EVER, “The Flight of Fred and George Weasley.” I can’t decide whether it’s the hilarity of the Weasleys, virtually everyone’s silent support of them, or Umbridge’s helpless reaction, but combined, they make for quite the laugh. I enjoy everything else too, especially the tension caused by Professor Umbridge’s presence at Hogwarts. Also, Harry is forced to deal with more stress. He becomes a public figure in this book and must learn to deal with his public image. Overall, this buildup of conflict is perfect. The climax, which is gripping, full of action, and sad, releases the tension and concludes the story on a dark note.

Another AMAZING book by J.K. Rowling! Even though it has yet another heart-breaking death - and maybe the fact that Harry and Dumbledore are considered "crazy" throughout most of the book - it is still a great book!

Harry is in big trouble with the ministry - He used magic, but for self-defense. However, no one will believe him. The magical world deems him a liar. Dumbledore is considered senile. His friends are rebuffing him. And to top it all off, he got a new teacher who is determined to hate him...

This book was very interesting. It talked about Harry in the worst time of his life - a period where the world refuses to believe him. He is alone, except for his two best friends. I really liked this book because it talks about the power of optimism. Harry found ways to find happiness amidst all the gloom - while the wizarding world was crumbling around him. He decides to go against everyone to try and finally prove that he was indeed correct when he said Lord Voldemort was back. However - what will that take?

Spoiler Alert - THIS BOOK IS VERY SAD.

My favorite of the Harry Potter books, I've read this book 4 times. Great read, and a great series in general.

Harry Potter and the Order in Phoenix, the fifth book of the Harry Potter series, follows Harry Potter again and his friends at Hogwarts. We start to see the main villain coming back slowly after disappearing in the past of the fictional world. This book is even bigger than the fourth as there is so much more detail in the plot and twists hit you left and right. You feel like you get closer to the characters even more throughout the book as you learn more about their pasts. I would recommend this book to middle schoolers and high schoolers as it really entraps you in the wizarding world.

It's okayish. I kinda slept halfway through it. My friend actullay said that her parents use the auidobook to put her to sleep!
But, this book is part of a good series. So read it if you'd like to continue with the Harry Potter series.

Harry Potter is spending another horrible summer with his dreadful Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon when a group of evil spirits called Dementors stage an unexpected attack on Harry and his cousin Dudley. After he uses magic to defend himself and Dudley, an act that later gets Harry expelled from Hogwarts, he is visited by a group of wizards and Madeye Moody and the is whisked off to number 12, Grimmauld Place, London. Number 12 is the home of Harry's godfather, Sirius Black, and the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. The Order is a group of witches and wizards, led by Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, dedicated to fighting the evil Lord Voldemort and his followers. The Order is forced to operate in secrecy, outside of the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Magic, which is headed by the dense and corrupt Cornelius Fudge. Fudge refuses to believe that Lord Voldemort has returned. Harry, who witnessed Voldemort's return the previous June and was tortured and nearly murdered by him, is suffering from nightmares about what has happened to him. He is also angry with those he is close to, especially Ron and Hermione. Harry used magic to fight off the dementors, and since underage wizards are not permitted to use their wands outside of school, he must face a disciplinary hearing at the Ministry. With Dumbledore's help, Harry is cleared by the Wizengamot and permitted to return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
