Artist Statement:
After 39 years wandering the wilderness, Nordbye has returned to his home town of Point Reyes with only light baggage and a bunch of sketchbooks. He received his BA from Hampshire College (RIP) and his MFA from the University of Iowa. He taught art in various Universities in Michigan, Minnesota and Memphis (but not Maryland or Milwaukee). His drawings and collages reflect his love for travel, people and the surprising interrelationship between all things (a dynamic exemplified by shelves of a library).
