Looking for Beauty and Inspiration by Barbara Janis will be displayed in the Corte Madera Community Room from May 3rd through June 18th.
In her own words, "Art has been a fascination for me since childhood. Over the years I've studied painting, first at the YWCA as a teen, then at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, UC Berkley, California College of Arts and Crafts and at least three junior colleges. After all those classes, it is only now in retirement that I've been able to devote quality time to this passion."
An artist reception celebrating Janis and her work will be held on Sunday, May 3rd from 2-4PM.
