The Fairfax Library Thursday Morning Book Club will meet in-person every other month to discuss a new book. Everyone is welcome to attend whether or not you have read the selected book for that meeting.

"In 1974, Kokila (Mary Ann Byrne) embarked on a life-changing journey, leaving her teaching career in the United States to travel to India with her five-year-old son. Over the next decade, they immersed themselves in a rich tapestry of diverse cultures, from the beaches of Goa in southern India to the majestic Himalayan mountains. After three transformative years, they joined the ashram of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, where Kokila welcomed the birth of her daughter.

During their time in the East, Kokila and her family explored many countries. This extraordinary adventure shaped her worldview and deepened her connection to the human spirit.
