Description

Strength Through Grace - Celebrating Black Heritage: This February we will be celebrating the stories of both local and national black icons from the world of professional ballet.

Marusya Madubuko, professional dancer with Alonzo King Lines Ballet, will talk about her journey as a dancer. She’ll share with us what she has learned from the world of dance, advice she would give her younger-self, and how she overcame the challenges in her way to landing her dream job. Also, she will be performing a short excerpt from one of Alonzo King's ballets.
