STORY WALK AT NOVATO BAYLANDS / PASEO Y CUENTO

Where/Dónde: Hamilton Landing, Novato, CA
When/Cuándo: July 26th from 10AM to 12:30PM

Point Blue Conservation and South Novato Library are collaborating creating this Story Walk at Novato Baylands. This is a family learning activity where we want to share the beauty of the Novato wetlands. Our goals are promoting the importance of the water in our daily life, and strengthening the connection with water and the communities around it. We’ll be reading Agua Aguita by Jorge Tetl Argueta as we walk 1.5 miles along the Bay Trail. We’ll finish at the Novato Baylands Nursery, where we’ll have activities, games, and snacks!

Point Blue Conservation y la Biblioteca del Sur de Novato les invitan a este programa Paseo y Cuento en los humedales de Novato. Esta es una actividad de aprendizaje donde queremos mostrar la belleza de la Bahía de Novato. Queremos promover la importancia del agua en nuestra vida diaria y fortalecer la conección del agua con las comunidades que viven en sus alrededores. Leeremos el cuento Agua Aguita by Jorge Tetl Argueta mientras caminamos 1.5 millas a lo largo del sendero de la bahía. Terminaremos en el vivero de la Bahía de Novato, donde tendremos divertidas actividades, juegos, y merienda!

What to wear and bring/Qué llevar:
Hat, comfortable clothes, water, sunblock (snacks available)
Sombrero, ropa cómoda, agua, bloqueador solar (merienda disponible)

We want to share the beauty of the Novato Baylands and the importance of wetland restoration.
