Join Tamela to rebalance and restore, to reset your mind and rejuvenate your body.
These classes are designed for active adults, 55 or older. Each class includes modified yoga poses, strength building and balancing exercises, designed to gently stretch muscles and improve body mechanics. Props are used to support movement. Each practice reinforces the relationship of the breath, aiding the release of stress. The steady pace of this class gives students the confidence to begin or deepen a regular exercise practice.
Tamela has been teaching older adult mat and chair yoga classes for over 10 years. Her goal is to provide a supportive and safe environment, both physically and emotionally. Tamela’s instruction is infused with loving-kindness and personal empowerment, providing a heartfelt grounding practice throughout each class.
